Farm Weddings: Alicia & Scott

You never know who you're going to meet at a wedding you work and Alicia and Scott are the perfect example of that. I first met Alicia a few months before her wedding as I photographed her cousin's wedding. Alicia handed out the programs that day and I clearly remember chatting with her a bit as I waited for the other bridal party to arrive. Not long after that day, I received an email asking If I was available to photograph her wedding as well :) I LOVE when stuff like that happens. Alicia and Scott's wedding was on a rainy fall afternoon in the Lehigh Valley. They didn't let that dampen their spirits one tiny bit though. Their wedding was at Barn Swallow Farms and it was so beautifully

Philadelphia Weddings: Jason & Jess

I'm not even gonna lie, this wedding absolutely was one of my favorites from 2017. I drove 650 miles the day before to be local to photograph it. Can I tell you though, when I left Jason and Jess's wedding that night I wasn't one ounce tired. I felt charged. The energy and beautiful, genuine love and happy emotions from everyone there was simply contagious. I cried. I laughed. I watched with pride as my clients walked towards their happily ever after. When Beth ( my amazing 2nd shooter) and I left we were laughing and just so, SO happy with how the night unfolded. Jason and Jess were a dream to work with and their wedding day was nothing short of amazing. There was traditions, and cultur

Bucks County Engagement Session: Nicole & Jason

I will never, ever turn down a lakefront engagement session. I don't know if it's because I'm from Northern Maine or what, but something about the trees and water just make my heart sing. When Nicole and Jason said they'd decided on Nockamixen for their engagement session I couldn't have been any happier. It was cloudy day, which worked out GREAT for us because it kept the park from being overly crowded. We started and ended by the docks and filled in the time between with trails, trees, and fall colored leaves. Nicole and Jason nailed it. They both seemed competely comfortable in front of the camera and I'm so happy with how their photos turned out.

Lehigh Valley Wedding: Becky & David

This couple is so sweet. They are young, in love, and just so happy to start their lives together as husband and wife that they really didn't even want a big wedding. With the help of David's amazing mom, Joyce, they planned a beautiful little wedding ceremony in record time. No really, like in a couple months from start to finish. It ended up being such a beautiful afternoon and evening with family and friends from near and far. It was definitely worth all the effort :)

Fall Weddings: Kelly & Tyler

I really have to start this blog post by saying that Kelly was the most relaxed bride I have EVER worked with. She was just so calm and happy to let things go as they were going to... it was awesome. Kelly and Tyler were married on Friday the 13th but there was nothing unlucky about their day! It was beautiful from start to finish. Everything was so perfectly fall and classy, they really did such an amazing job with the details. From what I could tell there was no detail missed!

Philadelphia Weddings: Sarah & Pat

It was a very warm September afternoon in Philadelphia. Tucked into the hustle and bustle of the busy city life Germantown Philadelphia is known for, lies Grumblethorpe. A historic little treasure dating back to the 1700's. Walking through the gate you find the most charming little hidden garden in the back complete with chickens :) Guests took their seats in the garden underneath the shade of a vine covered arbor. The groomsmen and officiant made their way to the front of the ceremony area. The music changed and suddenly Star Wars- The Throne Room filled the area ( it was amazing). Pat walked down the aisle with his mom and stood eagerly beside the gorgeous floral arbor. One by one bride

Lehigh Valley Weddings: Nicole & Chris

Nicole and Chris had such a perfect wedding day. The sun was shining bright, the weather was GORGEOUS, and their family and friends were all together to share their special day. When I arrived Chris was nervously pacing about. It was hard to keep track of him for more than a couple of seconds! As soon as Nicole arrived though, and was making her way down the aisle, he seemed to relax. Nicole was escorted down the by her son and while the three of them stood at the altar, Nicole and Chris became husband as wife :) Guests were treated to a delicious meal and a really great time at their reception.
