It was the first ( and ultimately one of the last) really chilly days of fall. PERFECT for a fall farm wedding if you ask me! Alicia and John had chosen and rustic country theme for their wedding, and considering their wedding took place on her family's farm it couldn't have been more perfect. The ladies wore lace dresses and carried bouquets of sunflowers and wildflowers. The guys wore jeans and button down shirts. All of them in cowboy ( and girl!) boots. They were married on the lower part of her family's farm with Haycock Mountain in the background. The guests were taken to their seats via hayride ( SO FUN!). When it was time for the bridal party to make their way down Alicia's little brother, Hunter, drove their tractor pulled wagon to the ceremony location. Alicia pulled up in her grandfather's blue Road Runner that the family had recently restored in his memory. She was driven by her loving dad. The ceremony was so fun and beautiful and that energy carried right on to the reception. Let me tell you, this group knew how to party!! The reception took place at the front of the farm under a tent that was masterfully decorated by Alicia's talented mom, Kerri. Really, she has an eye that challenges some of the top wedding planners I've ever worked with. Following the wedding and celebration, flowers were donated to Mary Ellen convalescent Home in Hellertown, Pa, for the residents to enjoy.
It certainly was a day to remember!
