I had been looking forward to Kailey and Josh's Stroudsmoor Inn wedding since the day I met them almost a year earlier for their engagement session. They are SUCH a fun and sweet couple and the location they chose couldn't have been more beautiful. There's just something special about those Poconos weddings! Kailey had mentioned wanting a small and classy winter wedding and (from my view at least) that's exactly what she got and then some :)
The day started with lots of love and laughter as everyone got ready in the two rooms. The guys were all in one and the ladies in the other. Josh handed out his groomsmen gifts and spent time teaching everyone the proper way to fold a pocket square. If there's one thing I've learned during my career it's that ties and pocket squares aren't easy to figure out ;) Kailey and her bridesmaids were all calm and just enjoying the morning, waiting to get into their gorgeous gowns. Once it was time to head down to the ceremony site, Kailey walked out to a surprise gift from her parents: a horse and carriage to carry her to the mansion. I mean... it doesn't get much for fairy tale than that!
Josh and Kailey were married in front of about 30 of their loved ones on top of a snowy mountain. They wrote their own vows, which were almost identical at some parts. It was funny, adorable, and the perfect example of how perfect they are for each other. Following the ceremony they danced their first dance that they had clearly worked hard to perfect, and then enjoyed the remainder of their wedding celebration and first day as husband and wife.
