You never know who you're going to meet at a wedding you work and Alicia and Scott are the perfect example of that. I first met Alicia a few months before her wedding as I photographed her cousin's wedding. Alicia handed out the programs that day and I clearly remember chatting with her a bit as I waited for the other bridal party to arrive. Not long after that day, I received an email asking If I was available to photograph her wedding as well :) I LOVE when stuff like that happens.
Alicia and Scott's wedding was on a rainy fall afternoon in the Lehigh Valley. They didn't let that dampen their spirits one tiny bit though. Their wedding was at Barn Swallow Farms and it was so beautifully done. It was a small wedding, but it was one of the most personal and loving I've ever seen. It really was about them. Nothing else. It was a celebration unifying two families and it was just so beautiful. They offered a soup and bread bar for guests ( BEST pumpkin soup I've ever had) and even chicken nuggets and tater tots for the kids, all catered by Cathy's Creative Catering. It was a really great day.
