Last Saturday I spent the day with Jess and Craig as I photographed their BEAUTIFUL Point Lookout wedding! Everything was so beautiful!! Jess and Craig were both two of the most relaxed people I have ever seen on their wedding day and that just made everything flow so seamlessly. Not to mention they are both so sweet and so much fun to spend time with :) It was a great day all around.
When I arrived Jess and her bridesmaids were in the bridal suite having their hair and makeup done by the fabulous Audrey Blackwood at Haven Salon. I was busy photographing all the gorgeous details Jess had put together for her day while everyone finished up getting ready. Jess chose a wedding gown by Maggie Sottero ( it was so perfect for her! ) and beautiful Azazie bridesmaid gowns in dusty rose for her bridesmaid to wear. Her florist, Seasons Downeast Designs arranged the most beautiful bouquets for her that complimented her theme and colors perfectly. The guys wore navy suits from Jos A Bank.
The outdoor ceremony location at Point Lookout has a view that is breathtaking. Seriously. Jess and Craig's guests gathered and took their seats, excited for the ceremony to begin. Wedding officiant Connie Jo Mills of All In One Weddings lead the groomsmen out the the altar once it was time to start. One by one, each bridesmaid made her way down the aisle. Then it was Jess's turn and arm in arm with her stepfather she headed down the aisle to her soon to be husband. The ceremony was perfect. There were emotional moments when everyone paused for a moment of silence in honor of Jess's mom and brother; funny moments as Jess's veil was blown by the wind right into Connie's podium, and perfect moments as Jess and Craig exchanged their vows and became husband and wife. Everything was done just right <3
Following the ceremony we took a little time for portraits, then it was time to get the party started! Each member of the bridal oarty was announced and made their entrances into the reception, followed by the newly married couple. Jess and Craig went right into their first dance as husband and wife to "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" by John Legend and Meghan Trainor. A delicious dinner was made and served by the on site caterers at Point Lookout , and soon after the dance floor opened up. DJ Kevin from Double Platinum Celebrations was amazing and knew exactly how to set the mood for a night a dancing no one would soon forget.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs!
Special thanks to Jessica Riley, the on-site coordinator at Point Lookout for being a wedding day rock star and making the day flawless :)
